Chicken Tropical - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken fryer
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 (9 oz.) chunk pineapple with liquid
    1/2 c. blanched almonds
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Wash chicken and pat dry.
    Mix salt, pepper and flour.
    Coat chicken.
    Brown in oil.
    When golden brown, add pineapple, raisins and almonds.
    Cook in oven until tender, about 1 hour.
    Remove chicken from sauce.
    Put chicken in oven to crisp.
    Serve sauce as gravy.
