Chess Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 box light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. pecans to taste
Preparation
    Heat first two ingredients on low heat.
    Remove from heat and add other ingredients in order.
    Flour two 8-inch square pans that have been greased.
    Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut and roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
    Yields 32 pieces.
