Cha-Han(Fried Rice) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice (not Minute type)
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 onion, diced
    1 c. parboiled carrots, diced
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Saute onion in oil until golden.
    Stir in rice.
    Heat through and add remaining ingredients.
    For a creamy effect, break an egg over the rice and mix it well into the rice.
    The Japanese add any vegetable or cooked meat to Cha-Han, as they are available. Serves 4 to 5.
