1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. black raspberry jam or preserves
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
3 c. applesauce
4 tsp. soda
4 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add next 8 ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
Add flour, mixing thoroughly.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Cool.
