Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, sliced raw
    1 stick margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 block Cheddar cheese (mild or sharp), shredded
    1 c. milk (sweet)
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes and place in bowl of cold water and let sit.
    In skillet on low fire, melt margarine and add milk and flour, a little at a time, until smooth.
    Then add shredded cheese and season to taste (salt and pepper).
