Dried Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. dried apples
    2 c. molasses
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oleo
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cover
    dried
    apples with water (about 2 cups) and soak overnight.\tChop
    fine.
    Add
    molasses
    and
    simmer
    2
    hours. Cool.
    Mix\tsugar
    and oleo; add eggs and blend well.
    Mix dry ingredients to sugar, oleo and egg mix along with cooled dried apple-molasses
    mixture.
    Add sour milk.
    Bake in greased loaf pans.
    This
    is a large amount so it makes 2 to 3 large loaves or 6
    to
    7
    tiny foil tins.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 about 1 hour and 10 minutes,
    for
    tiny
    loaves
    or
    1 1/2 hours for large loaves. Chopped
    raisins
    can be added to the apple-molasses mix.
    Add before simmering.
