Grandpa'S Spinach Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Knorr leek soup
    1 small pkg. chopped spinach
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. chopped green onions (1 bunch)
    dash of salt
    1 can drained and chopped water chestnuts
    1 loaf French bread
Preparation
    Cook, drain and cool spinach.
    Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and soup.
    Chop onions and chestnuts and add to mayonnaise mixture. Squeeze water out of spinach and chop.
    Add spinach to mayonnaise mixture.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Cut off top of French bread; scoop out bread and put dip in crust.
    Serve with bread crusts.
