Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. cheese, grated
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. crackers
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Cook squash; drain and mash.
    Combine sugar, onion, mayonnaise, eggs, salt and pepper.
    Stir in squash.
    Place in buttered dish.
    Sprinkle cheese on.
    Put cracker crumbs on top of cheese.
    Put 1/2 cup butter on top of crackers.
    Bake on 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
