Apple Kuchen Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
dash of salt
1 tsp. soda, mixed in 1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Mix all together.
Add 2 cups of chopped apples and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
Mix well.
Put into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Sprinkle a mixture of 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon on top.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
