Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten eggs.
Mix soda and milk and add to butter, sugar and egg mixture.
Combine flour and salt; sift together.
Add vanilla.
Store in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours.
Take out.
Roll out and cut out cookies.
These puff up when baking so don't roll out too thick.
Bake 6 minutes at 375\u00b0.
