Shoyu Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 4 lb.) chicken
    1/4 c. oil
    1 1/2-inch sliced ginger root, crushed
    2 cloves garlic
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation
    Soak beef overnight in a mixture of any barbecue sauce, liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce.
    Cook the next day in the liquids at least 3 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Meat is done when tender.
