Southern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Blend the meal, salt, sugar, butter, water and 1 cup milk in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
    Cool.
    Add 1 cup milk and eggs.
    Pour into greased baking dish and bake 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Serve piping hot with lots of butter.
