Squaw Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in bowl.
    Add milk slowly, stirring to form a ball.
    Turn dough onto floured surface.
    Knead lightly. Roll dough 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into 2-inch squares.
    Drop into deep hot fat.
    Fry until golden brown.
