Aunt Jessie'S Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. (heaping) cornstarch
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 to 6 c. tart apples, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 Tbsp. butter
2 pie crusts
Preparation

Place apples in pie shell, enough to heap up.
Mix cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together and pour over apples.
Dot with butter.
Place top crust over apples; seal edges. Bake at 400\u00b0 until apples test done and crust is golden brown.
