Buttermilk Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, separated
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. buttermilk or margarine
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour and salt.
    Add egg yolks, buttermilk, butter and pecans; beat well.
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar at room temperature until stiff peaks form.
    Fold into buttermilk mixture.
    Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell; bake for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
