Humus - Chickpea Dip(Garbanzo Beans) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can chickpeas, drain liquid
2 small cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. parsley, dried
1 tsp. dried basil
1 Tbsp. olive oil
black pepper to taste
1/4 c. Tahini (optional) (a sesame paste found in health stores)
Preparation

Blend all ingredients together in food processor.
Serve at room temperature with warm wedges of pita bread.
