Chicken Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) pkg. medium noodles
1 c. diced, cooked chicken or turkey (1 1/2 breasts)
1 c. diced celery
1/4 c. diced green pepper
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (6 oz.) evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. shredded American cheese
Preparation

Cook noodles until tender.
Put in 2-quart casserole with chicken, celery, green pepper and almonds.
Heat soup, milk and salt, stirring constantly.
Add cheese and stir until melted. Pour cheese sauce over noodle mixture; mix thoroughly.
Top with buttered bread crumbs (1/3 stick butter and 1/2 cup crumbs).
Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour if baked immediately.
If kept in refrigerator for a time, bake 1 hour.
