Ingredients

1 can sliced beets
1 small onion, sliced
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Bring to a boil the liquid drained from beets, vinegar, sugar and seasonings.
Pour over beets; stir.
Refrigerate overnight before serving.
