Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans French-style green beans, drained
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. chopped pimento
8 oz. (12 slices) American cheese
2 c. bread crumbs (cornbread is good)
10 strips bacon, crisply cooked
Preparation

Put 1 can of beans in bottom of casserole dish.
Sprinkle with 1/2 of the onion and pimento.
Cover with 1/2 of the cheese.
Add 1/2 can of soup on top of cheese.
Repeat with second can of beans and remaining onion, pimento, cheese and soup.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Cover with bread crumbs and crumbled bacon. Bake 10 minutes longer.
