French Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry (for 9-inch pie)
    4 or 5 c. apples, sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Fill pie shell with sliced apples, mixed with 1/2 cup sugar. To prepare crumb topping, cream butter and brown sugar, then cut in flour.
    Add chopped pecans and cinnamon.
    Sprinkle crumbly topping on top of apples.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
