Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. sugar, mixed with 2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix the shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Mix all ingredients together except sugar-cinnamon.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
