Peaches And Cream Crescent Dessert - cooking recipe

1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent rolls
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c.(21 oz. can) peach fruit filling
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. almonds
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Separate crescent dough into 2 long rectangles.
Place on ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Press dough to cover pan.
Blend cream cheese, sugar and extract until smooth. Spread over dough.
Spoon fruit filling evenly over cream cheese mixture.
Combine flour, brown sugar and margarine.
Mix until crumbly.
Stir in almonds.
Sprinkle over fruit filling.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
