Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (No. 2) can sliced peaches
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Pour into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, milk and vanilla.
    Pour over butter. Dribble the juice from the peaches over the batter, then add peaches.
    Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar over the top and bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
