Lemon Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lemon (rind and juice)
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1 pt. hot water
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Dilute cornstarch in cold water.
Put all ingredients, except egg yolks, in pan and cook until thick.
Add egg yolks, slightly beaten, and cook again.
Cool; pour into baked pie shell.
Use whites of eggs for meringue and brown.
