Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 c. chopped red cherries
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir in cherries and nuts.
Form in two rolls 2-inches in diameter.
Roll in coconut.
Wrap and chill for several hours. Slice 1/4-inch thick; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
