Yankee Red Flannel Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped cooked beef or canned
    3 c. finely chopped cooked potatoes
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped cooked beets or canned
    1/3 c. finely chopped onion
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    few drops Tabasco sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Lightly toss beef, potatoes, beets and onion together.
    Add milk, salt and tabasco.
    Season to taste with more salt and pepper if needed.
    Melt 3/4 tablespoons fat in skillet,
    spread hash evenly over bottom. Cook over medium heat until underneath side is brown and crusty.
