Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    dash of salt
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pie shell
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Cook pie shell; cook sugar, egg yolks, milk and salt until thickens, then add butter, vanilla and coconut.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with stiffly beaten egg whites, sweetened to taste.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
