Fruit Nectar Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. apricot nectar
    1/2 c. water
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can apricot halves
Preparation
    Heat apricot nectar and water to boiling; pour over orange gelatin and stir to dissolve.
    Drain and reserve pineapple; measure syrup (there should be 1 cup).
    Add syrup to orange gelatin mixture; chill until syrupy.
    Drain apricots.
    Fold crushed pineapple and apricots into chilled, syrupy gelatin.
    Turn into 1 1/2-quart mold; chill until firm.
    Makes 6 servings.
