Ingredients

6 eggs
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. margarine
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. Almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. Coconut flavoring
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. milk
2 c. grated coconut or fresh coconut grated
Preparation

Beat yolks with shortening and margarine at high speed.
Add sugar, then extracts.
At low speed, beat in flour (in 1/4's) with milk (in 1/3's). Add coconut, beat.
Beat egg whites, fold into batter.
Pour into greased 10 inch tube pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
