Busy Woman'S Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 bell pepper
    2 large onions
    1 pt. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix vinegar, sugar, seed and salt in saucepan.
    Simmer for 6 minutes.
    Stir always.
    Cool.
    Pour over cabbage, pepper and onion.
    Mix with spoon or your hands.
    Store
    in gallon jar for 24 hours before serving.
    Will stay fresh for 3 to 4 weeks.
    Keep refrigerated.
