Brown Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. light brown sugar
    3/4 c. margarine
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    4 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream together 2 cups light brown sugar and 3/4 cup margarine. Then add cold water.
    Stir in remaining ingredients slowly until well mixed.
    Drop by teaspoon on a buttered pan.
    If dough is not stiff enough, add more flour.
    Before baking, cut a maraschino cherry, place cut side down and bake.
