Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. scalded milk
    1 c. boiled rice
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Rice may be cooked in water or milk.
    Stir into milk. Add sugar, salt and eggs, slightly beaten.
    One tablespoon butter may be added.
    Flavor as desired (cinnamon).
    Bake or steam in buttered shallow baking dish until firm.
