Cheese Pastry Shell - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Stir in cheese.
    Sprinkle milk, one tablespoon at a time, evenly over surface.
    Stir with fork until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Shape into a ball. Chill 30 minutes.
