Lillie Jessup'S Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1 carton sour cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream the butter, Crisco, sugar and flavorings.
    Add sour cream.
    Sift flour 3 times with salt and baking powder.
    Add alternately with milk, beating all this time.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating between each addition.
    Bake at 325\u00b0.
    Test for doneness after 1 hour and 15 minutes, but it may take as long as 1 hour and 25 minutes.
