Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook water and sugar until it spins a thread.
    Put in peanuts and cook until they begin to pop.
    Add butter and soda.
    Pour onto large cookie sheet.
    Cool; break into pieces.
