White Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 (16 oz.) cans Great Northern white beans
4 c. chopped, cooked chicken breast
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 medium onions (chopped)
4 minced garlic cloves
2 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chilies
2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
3 c. grated monterey jack cheese
1-1/2 tsp. ground oregano
3 c. chicken broth
sour cream
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Saute onions in oil till translucent.
Add garlic, chilies, cumin, oregano, and cayenne; cook 2 more minutes.
Add beans (with liquid) and broth; bring to boil.
Reduce heat.
Add chicken and cheese.
Stir till cheese melts.
(If cheese is not done just right, it will be stringy.)
Season with salt and pepper.
Ladle into bowls.
Garnish with a dollop of sour cream.
