Oatmeal Crunch Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 1/3 c. flour
1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation

Cream
butter with brown sugar, vanilla and salt.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Press into bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake
at
350\u00b0
for
25
to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool;
cut
into bars.
For frosting, sprinkle 1/2
cup chocolate
pieces on hot bars.
When soft, spread to frost.
