Nameless Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. Cocoa
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar. Blend in eggs, sifted flour, baking powder, soda, spices, salt, and cocoa. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Blend in vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with Mocha frosting.
