Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. molasses
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
    Add the rest of ingredients.
    Blend together until dough forms.
    Press into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Brush with water.
    Sprinkle with sugar. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cut in squares while warm.
