Pork Chop Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 pork chops
    1 pkg. Lipton's onion soup mix
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 jar mushrooms
    1 jar pimento (optional)
Preparation
    Brown pork chops.
    Spread rice over the bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Reserve 2 teaspoons onion soup mix and sprinkle the rest over the rice.
    Reserve mushroom liquid and spread mushrooms over the rice.
    Add pimentos.
    Add enough water to mushroom liquid to total 3 cups.
    Pour over rice mixture. Place pork chops on top of rice, then sprinkle with remaining soup mix. Cover with tinfoil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on thickness of pork chops.
