Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
Beat shortening and sugar together until creamy.
Add eggs, vanilla, bananas and sour cream; blend well. Sift together dry ingredients and fold into moist mixture.
Mix in chopped nuts. Bake in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan for 1 hour.
Test middle of loaf before removing bread from oven.
If sticky to the touch, continue to bake a little longer.
