Bread And Butter Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 c. sliced cucumbers
1 c. onion, thinly sliced or diced
2 or 3 tsp. plain salt
1 c. vinegar
2 c. granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 Tbsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
-
Mix together first 3 ingredients and soak 2 or 3 hours.
Drain but do not wash.
Mix together last 5 ingredients.
Bring to boil. Cool.
Pour over pickles.
Put in half gallon jars.
Keep in refrigerator.
Can start eating after 7 or 8 days.
