Martha Pafford'S Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. softened butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water
1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation

Cream the butter.
Gradually add sugar, beating well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour; mix thoroughly.
Stir in milk, water and vanilla.
Pour custard mixture into pie shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 15 minutes.
Chill and serve.
