Gertie'S Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 C. flour
    1 C. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can fruit cocktail (juice, too)
    1 egg
    1/2 C. melted margarine
    2/3 C. brown sugar
    1 C. chopped nuts
    1 C. coconut
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Combine fruit cocktail, egg, and margarine and pour in an 8 x 12 inch greased pan.
    Mix brown sugar, chopped nuts, and coconut.
    Sprinkle on top of cake.
    Bake at 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.
