Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Slice top off green peppers.
    Remove seeds and white membrane. Discard.
    Cover green pepper shells in pot of boiling water. Cook 5 minutes.
    Remove and drain shells.
