Pecan Tassies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 egg
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup butter or margarine and softened cream cheese.
    Stir in flour; mix well.
    Cover and chill one hour.
