Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. prunes
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. Mazola oil
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. mace
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cut prunes into small pieces and pour boiling water over them. Let stand a few minutes and drain off water.
    Mix oil and sugar; add eggs.
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with buttermilk. Add prunes and nuts.
    Bake in a greased tube pan or in baking pans at 350\u00b0 until done (about 45 minutes to 1 hour).
