Fettuccine Alfredo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) pkg. fettuccine noodles
1/2 c. butter
1 c. heavy whipping cream
1 c. sour cream
1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 c. fresh or dried chives, minced
Preparation

Cook fettuccine according to package directions until tender, but still firm.
Drain.
While noodles are cooking, melt butter in medium saucepan.
Add heavy cream and cook over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and add sour cream, stirring constantly.
Do not allow cream sauce to boil.
Toss noodles, cream sauce, Parmesan cheese and chives until well blended.
Serve immediately. Yield:
6 servings.
