Easy Pecan "Sticky" Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. maple or maple flavored syrup
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 to 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In small pan, combine syrup, margarine and cinnamon.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for two minutes.
    Pour into a 9-inch round or square pan.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Open crescent roll packages; do not unroll dough.
    Cut each package into 8 pieces.
    Place in rows in pan (flat like regular cinnamon rolls). Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
    Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Let stand 5 minutes; invert on serving plate.
    Serve warm.
