Ingredients

1 c. margarine or butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. crushed corn flakes
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream together butter and sugars, add egg and mix well.
Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, except pecans, mix until combined.
Stir in pecans.
Form dough into balls the size of walnuts, place on an ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
Do not over cook.
Allow to cool a few minutes before removing from pan.
Sprinkle with sugar, if desired.
Makes about 6 dozen.
